Below is an excerpt from a project I created for my Dance Studio Management course this spring. I was given the opportunity to create a dance studio from the ground up in this course, learning how to create a business plan, create dance flooring, and construct policies and procedures for the studio’s faculty and students. My dance studio is entitled the New Directions Performing Arts Academy, a community that is committed to taking theatre and dance in new directions.
